I went to Monaco today and just walked around a lot. It was about an hour bus ride from Nice along the coast and it was super cheap. The country itself is very small as you probably know and seemed smaller in person. There were huge mountains in the back and the city down below. It seemed like a nicer and richer Nice. The buildings were the same colors but it had taller apt buildings. I'm sure due to the limited space it has to work with. Apparently the Tour de France starts in Monaco so the city was setting up for that. There didn't seem like to live if you had a bizzilion dollars to spend on clothes, food, and cars. But the city(country) didn't really impress me that much. You walk around the city and all these rich people(or bitches) do their thing by shopping or laying on the beach all day. It must be nice to have that ability but fortunately I live in the real world and have worked my way up from the bottom(Somewhat but not really). But Monaco was ok, it was very clean but again it was very small and how hard can it be to manage 3 city blocks. I did manage to see 2 city protests within my 5 hours of in country time. Apparently they were cooks that wanted more money or whatever.
Bottom Line: Monaco is OK. Definitely not a must-see unless you want to feel like a peasant.
