Being on the dock was lovely. I didn’t have my tripod, so the photos I took on the bridge and the dock didn’t come out wonderfully, but the night was awesome. Perfect temperature, clear skies. We walked down to the nearby bridge across the Charles River and saw the skyline from there.
Then, for some reason, we decided to find our way to Boston University despite not really knowing how to get there. We managed it, walking all the way to the opposite edge of the two-mile long campus. This also gave me a chance to see Lizzie, a friend of mine who goes to BU. We met her outside a Raising Cane's on campus. The total trip took us about four hours, but it was worth it.
To tick another box off of my tourist-y things to do in Boston, a group of seventeen of us went to the Esplanade tonight. Normally, as of late, this is not very safe, but in such a large group it was fine. We didn't exactly know how to find the walking bridge across the freeway, so we wandered up and down streets of gorgeous, rich homes until we saw an alley backing up to the road. Eventually, after walking by a whole crowd of some college’s Greek Life students, we found one of the bridges.
