I've gotten a few boxes on my tourist’s guide to Boston checked off now! On Monday, I was treated to a free performance by the North End’s popular Improv Asylum. Yesterday I went to the Public Gardens with Mom. It was a gorgeous day and I got some nice photos. Then this evening I saw a performance by The Date Doctor. Both shows this week were spectacular, and free, and indescribably fun. I highly recommend both.
Around 11:30, after The Date Doctor got out, a group of us headed to Bova’s, the North End bakery open 24/7, at midnight. The group was very, very large. Hungry and tired and looking for a reward for our walk, we invaded, to put it simply. I would have felt bad if the pastries weren’t so delicious: they did this to themselves!
