This was the last trip we took together with camp friends, because on the Monday, we all went our separate ways, never to be all together again! SAD TIMES :(
This was the Saturday after camp had ended. We had checkout on the Friday and straight after we went into inventorying and cleaning mode. We worked late into Friday night and were back up at 6 to carry on cleaning. Because we were all such hard workers, Star gave us a 12h break at Saturday lunchtime so Cheerio (being as awesome as she is) took us all back to her house in Maryland for a real shower and a day away from Camp! Me, Zona, Cheerio, 5 Pennies and Koko all piled into her car and drove 40 minutes to her house in Havre de Grace. Little did we know she lived in what can only be described as a MANSION in a gated community. LUCKY!! When we got there, her first comment was legendary! She parked in a car park, got out of the car and apologised to us, saying she was sorry for the long walk to her house but her dad wouldn't let her park in the driveway because her brother parked there. HER HOUSE WAS RIGHT BEHIND US. The 'long walk' was 15 seconds MAX. Bless her, we never let her live that one down! :)
Once we'd been introduced to her parents, we all took showers and (again) stroked the carpet - you 'house' people don't know how lucky you are until you don't have carpet! We then watched TV, played with her (adorable) cat and headed out to the mall to do some shopping. This is where I was on a mission! All I wanted was to buy a moose (wierd, I know...)! We grabbed some food form subway and headed out. I think we all managed to spend about $100 on more crap we didn't need but me and Zona did manage to get matching T Shirts in order to have International Twin Day! :D - check out the pics on Facebook! After a good 5 hours of shopping and still no Moose, we decided to call it a day and head back to Cheerio's for Pizza and a film. It was so nice just to sit and eat and laugh together, do each other's nails and not have to worry about kids so we all had a laugh before Koko pointed out we should probably head back to Camp to sleep and get ready for a busy day ahead!
