Has anyone met someone that can talk underwater with a mouthful of marbles? I thought I could talk but the guy who works at Hotel Wertheim....cheese and crackers... he is well and truly ahead of me!  We wanted to make sure that we were heading in the right direction of the zoo... one question lead to a WHOLE LIFE STORY with this guy .  Totally lovely though and I probably know more about him than I know about Trav!  We got to the zoo – or as they call it here 'Zo'.  Totally ridiculously massive with about 3 levels, swimming pool, miniature trains, and even a chair lift.  The weather was quite warm...actually it was bloody hot and I wished I packed my bikinis so I could take a dip in the pool.  We saw sooo many animals and the Prague zoo was so much better than the Salzburg zoo.  The best animal was the tiger.  Credit goes to him -  He was able to back one out with a big crowd watching.  No stage fright from him.

Because we have already done Prague, I thought I’d list the next few days all under this entry.

Monday 23/8/10 – Lazy as day.  We went to the cinemas and watched 2 movies ‘Knight & Day’ and ‘Salt’.  These movies are in English with Czech subtitles!  Love it.  We grabbed lunch at Hooters.  The waitress was probably only 16 or 17 years old so it felt a bit wrong looking at her in those tight orange shorts

Tuesday 24/8/10 – We chatted to Kendall & Heafty on skype.  It was so great to chat to them and catch up on a few things.  The guy ‘George’ from Z-Invest who is fixing Helios called to let us know that TNT sent the part via truck instead of plane so we are stuck in Prague till at least Thursday.  RAAAA to TNT.  We decided to move to another hotel direct in Prague so now at Hotel Leonardo. Beautiful place, way better location as we are only a few minutes walk from everything.  We caught up with George & his wife from Z-Invest for tea.  The only good thing about Helios breaking down was that we were able to meet two very lovely people!  He taught us a few things about Prague and started teaching Trav the pronunciation of the accent of Czech letters.

Wednesday 25/8/10 – Watched another movie ‘Get to the Greek’.  Funny as. Good movie. Went to the ‘Furstenberg Gardens’ and also to the Secret Gardens.  Another easy day as we are hoping Helios will be ready for us tomorrow!

Thursday 26/8/10 – Another lazy day.  Had to check out of the hotel by 12pm.  We didn’t really know what to do as we had to wait to hear from Z-Invest but by about 1pm we decided to head to Z-Invest to see how Helios was going.  It would’ve only taken us 40 min max to get there but Trav wanted to go what he thought was the best way and we didn’t get there till 5pm.  Yes, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, today was not a good day.  I will leave it at that.  But we got there and George cheered us both up and made us a coffee.  Helios was fixed and we were finally on the road.  Munich, here we come.  It only took about 3.5 hours to get from Prague to Munich.  We had nice roads and it was fairly quiet on the motorway so we were grateful for that.  Helios was changing gears fine.  Fingers cross that we don’t have any more issues!  We checked into a campsite just after 9:30pm.  We met Jill & Ben from Melbourne and chatted to them for awhile.  It’s great to met people in your travels where you can share stories.
