Switzerland...No welcome sign though

Where I stayed
Camping TCS, "Point a la Bise"
Geneva, a city in Switzerland close to the border of France. They are a confused city! Unsure whether they are in Switzerland or in France. Euros or Frank. French language or something else! But Geneva is lovely either way. Gorgeous weather with the view of the Alps in the distance. So much happening by the Geneva river/lake. A lot of people sunbathing, eating their lunch, reading a book ...it's the place to be! We were disappointed that there wasn’t a massive sign saying "Welcome to Switzerland". Nothing at all. No border control. No passport stamp. Zero. Zilch! I wanted to make my own little sign to make things more official! There were probably more motor bikes than cars through the hills. Feels a bit like George Road with locals and foreigners taking their bikes for a good thrash. We treated ourselves to an icecream. Trav gave the lady €50 and received 56CHU (franks) back. Bonus! Gotta love that. We stayed at Camping TCS, “Point a la Bise”. They had a restaurant on site and the view overlooking the Geneva Lake. Very busy campsite with quite a few backpackers. And they had showers with really hot water! And you didn’t have to press a button for the water to come out! Sweet as (past campsites the water has only been warm and you had to keep pressing a button for the water to come out. Dislike to that) We tried out the Restaurant...everything in French so the waitress helped us translate. Salad for a starter followed by these little fish things with chips and a fruit salad for dessert. It was quite nice actually and I was so excited to eat salad! I haven’t had lettuce in a few days! That was 24.50CHU so not too badly priced. Bedtime as I wanted to wake early to use up as much hot water as possible! Like to that!
