Trav wishes to remind everyone that it's his birthday tomorrow. Today we spent most of the day in Calais city centre. Had time to kill before 2pm (getting fridge fixed). Most of the businesses in France are opened from 9am till 12pm, then they are closed for the 2 hours and open again from 2pm till 6pm. They use 24:00 times as well (Bill....how about it? We implement this 2 hour time break at work?!) We still have to get in the habit of looking left instead right before crossing the road...I’ve only almost been hit twice but I think in France they have this understanding and the cars slow down pretty quick for pedestrians. We got the Fridge fixed so decided to head straight to Paris. The weather was quite warm so the drive to Paris was a tad sweaty... can of coke between my legs did the trick to keep me cool. 2.5 hours later we were in Paris. Cracked open a beer and did bugger all for the rest of the night! Met a few poms... totally lovely but flip they can talk. Cant remember their names so we’ll call them Fred and Wilma. Everytime Fred spoke, Wilma would repeat him and start talking as well. Funny stuff...but they were helpful and gave us a few travel tips. Big day tomorrow so that is all.
