WE BELIEVE in the Word made flesh; therefore, we speak so others can LISTEN and hear His Word through us.

LISTEN! He is risen! He is risen indeed, hallelujah! What a great day we had! From amazing workshops to an energy-filled concert to an unforgettable worship service, today was been absolutely amazing. Tomorrow is the last Mass Event and then we are headed home, but these memories we have made and the growth we have made, will not be forgotten, today was probably one of the most memorable days.

We started out by being able to sleep for a little longer, and a nicer breakfast, because we had a later Bible study, but before we went to our Bible study, we met up with Pastor Randy who will be facilitating our trip to Acts 1:8 Ministries starting on Saturday. We then had our last Bible study with Pastor Taylor and afterwards headed up to try to go to a workshop called Mythbusters: Bible Edition, but we weren't able to get in because it was full so we split up for the afternoon workshops. Rachel and Ava were headed to some workshops about teen issues and to see Remedy Drive, and Pastor Rockey and Elizabeth headed out to just wander until they found something they wanted to do (they ended up in workshops about trusting God). After an afternoon of great music and words, we met up and headed back to the hotel to get cleaned up for the worship service. (Just a note, NYG calls the evening mass event without Communion a Mass Event, but with Communion, they call it worship) We then headed out to The Dome and found our seats to begin an evening of amazing worship and inspiration. The service consisted of a choir, hand bells, band, dancers, actors, pastors, banner carriers, cross bearer, candle bearers and a praise band. Altogether, there were over 1000 people specifically involved in the worship service. The service was a great mixture of contemporary and traditional music and was extremely creative, including a live act of Jesus’ death, resurrection, and visiting to the disciples. It was truly unforgettable.

After the service, Elizabeth and Ava headed back up to the hotel room, and Rachel and Pastor went across the street so Rachel could see Remedy Drive while Pastor Rockey caught up with old friends. I thoroughly enjoyed the concert, my favorite by far; the band is interactive, loud, and energetic, a perfect matching. We then headed across the street to go back to our hotel and head up to bed. We’re all packed and tomorrow morning we’ll load the car and after the Mass Event head on home (9hrs plus time change equals 10hrs), we hope to be home before midnight, but if not, then we’ll be home close to it.

Once again, thank you to everyone who supported us throughout this amazing journey as we were able to live what WE BELIEVE. It means the world to us to know that we have so many people at home supporting us on our trip. Once again thanks for all your support, prayers, and thoughts. God’s Blessings upon each and every one of you!

What an amazing journey you all have been through. So glad for the streaming video. Watched all of the closing service Wednesday, took screen prints, and posted them to my facebook. One of my pastor friends thought I was actually there sitting right behind them. It's almost midnight - maybe you're home or close to it. Rest well...we join together Friday evening & leave ever so early on Saturday, as you know. Laundry time - barely! God bless you.
