For so long, getting to Chennai and rendezvousing with Mum and Dad has been our goal that now that it has been achieved, is now over I am left feeling slightly aimless. We are travelling on, but why? for what purpose?
A week ago we planned out our next month and that got me excited again about all the wonderful things that lay ahead of us but now, today, I have a strange sense of post-holiday blues, which I cannot possibly justify when I think of everybody back home going to work every day, but is there nonetheless. Travelling is not our job - and it certainly has not in any way become a chore - it is just the thing we are now doing; the norm. It is what we happen to be doing with our lives at this moment in time.
At the end of the week we will be celebrating the five month anniversary since we set off.
