Unfortunately all my toxins seemed to have migrated over to Beth during the night and she woke at five this morning with a D&V she has been unable to shift all day.  Unable to eat, she has grown weaker as the day has progressed and as we sit on the slow train to Ise-shima she just wants to be in a bed (near a toilet).
She has reached that point, that horrible point when you know you're not going to die - you're just a bit unwell. It's so annoying. You just want time to pass. You just want to be 24 hours down the line, 24 hours closer to recovery. You feel it is such a waste of a day, such a pointless and unnecessary waste of time and there is nothing you can do about it.
We are travelling together though and we are here to look after each other. Yesterday Beth looked after me, today it is my turn.
