The whole of Japan seems to be like one giant spa town. I feel like an invalid, shuffling around in my yukata (robe) and house slippers, the soothing smell of the tatami (reed matting), bathing in neck-deep plunge-pool baths - water flooding over the sides as you sink in - eating healthy, low-fat foods and sleeping twelve hours a day. I love it! The silence and tranquility is just what I needed.
After a satisfying release, I played around with some of the buttons on the toilet's control panel. My finger hovered fractionally before pressing the one with the bum-fountain graphic. The accuracy of that thing is quite remarkable.
