Went for a mountain biking ride on Sunday and was on the Golden Gate Bridge when the Queen Mary 2 arrived into the bay. There were thousands of people on the edges of the Marin Headlands as well as on the bridge waving and screaming as the boat went under the bridge. Helicopters were hovering at bridge span level and below and flying around while we waited for the boat to arive.

The low point was the drive back home...about 2 hours for about 5 miles! Unbelievable amounts of traffic getting out of the Presidio. Note to self: Ride bike the entire way next time and don't be a lazy bones and park near the bridge!
