A 14 hour overnight bus to the province of Goa.  Goa is relaxed, laidback, chilled, touristy with kms of beach and coast.

Palolem itself is defo one of the quieter beaches to relax while there are plenty of 'party' ones...but as you may have noticed, i am over the party scene.  I am now more mature (hehe), wiser, simpler and well boring as some may call it but im ok with that.  It's still the low season as well which makes it even quieter and makes me even happier.

So i found accomodation right on the beach, 20m directly in front was the ocean - nice! So i naturally relaxed.  I  took a stroll along the beach which was relatively clean, some fishermen, there weren't too many hawkers so i could still smile them away withoot getting too annoyed.  I scurried over some rocks and just wandered oot of the toursit bit, to a quiet bit of beach.  I found a nice large rock to lay on away from everything and everyone (im such a happy loner now), sun tan and read, with the ocean at my feet.

Then as dusk broke so did the tide.  The water would detract aboot 100m which opened the beach up immensely, with a endless platform of sand and allowed a much larger area to be roamed.  So i wandered far oot (the other way on the beach this time), around a bend, to face west, to yet more rocks, large ones this time ....I found a mofo rock to climb upon with a view down below and to watch the sunset.  I was happy..real happy.  I love rocks!  I love climbing around them, over them, finding my own way trough a maze of them, around the ocean...i find such peace and enjoyment in that (call me crazy or simple but hey), just to find the perfect place, the perfect rock to sit on,  to just BE.
