I made it in a hour without any major hitches or getting lost in the dark..woohoo! I had a nice dinner and a Bintang (beer) at my hotel then went to sleep basically. My hotel wasn't the best choice as it was small and the walls just consisted of bamboo and the rooms were all one floor and i heard everything!! But hey.. i did get some sleep and then woke up to the rugrats next door making same annoying clapping noises 6 hrs before.
It's alrighty i wanted to get up early...it's small coastal town with a small beach right outside my hotel and lots of fishing boats. I made my way a bit further up to the Blue Lagoon, quite quiet with a small restaurant and lovely blue water and some coral reefs. So i took a few hrs to go snorkeling and suntanned a bit. There lots of fishy everywhere in the water which was lovely..just had to be careful with the strong tide. No worries, I just hugged the rocks..
Alrighty..then i set off again by noon as i was happy with my morning of relaxation and wee bit of activity. I was headed back south towards where i started with my bike but headed for a beach this time. I was meeting my Dutch friend, Hanneke, later day... my job was to find a nice place to stay by the beach where it's chilled and calm. That prooved to be more difficult as there is a beach everywhere and many resorts and extravangant accomodation, not as much for backpackers. So after riding around for a couple hrs...i had had enough and settled on something that definitely wasn't usually my typical choice, or even an option...
