Where I stayed
Told you i was gonna move quite fast...i met a nice Malaysian guy in Cat Ba that booked the exact same journey so had some company to entertain me and in case something went wrong with the buses/boat..as sometimes they just don't show up after you book your ticket. But not to worry i had nooo problems with that journey and all the transfers, smooth sailing. I'm really trying to look at Vietnam in a more positive light, it's just a bigger challenge to and not to get distracted or discouraged by the neg. experiences.
So the night sleeper bus i got for my 16 hr overnight journey to Hoi An was crazy but good..never seen anything like it
I met a lovely boy at the lunch busstop. He had a huge book full of different notes and coins as he collected different currencies, he had like 70 countries. He was so sweet and geniunely nice, and excited. Surprisingly he didn't have any CDN money (except old $2 note) but i didn't either but i had some Malawian Kwacha and Tanzanian Schilling that i gave him and added to his collection. He was sooo excited to get 2 more countries and said thank you like 10 times! It was really nice to see. I showed him on my map where the countries were, he only knew South Africa. He helped me to reignite my spirit for Vietnam. I was being so negative and didn't like it...the challenge is to keep smiling and laughin, knowing there's always a positive experience up ahead.
Back to the present - Hoi An. I've had a nice time here which is nice to say
Alrighty roo...next stop Mui Ne....im hoping for no debacles! Please hold...
