On the drive from the Meteor Crater to New Orleans we saw signs that said "feed the ostriches" and mechanical dinosaurs. How could we not stop?

Feeding the ostriches was hilarious and fun. They are a bit larger and more intimidating than expected and their beaks seem ferocious when they mover really quickly toward your hand holding the cup of food. Once I got used to the quick movements it was a lot of fun and I could have stood there all day feeding them. We got into a long conversation with another traveler who mentioned that he had seen a show about how some country rides ostriches. I can't imagine it, but would love to see it.

I have to say the dinosaurs were fun and funny, but not very mechanical. It was definitely a worthwhile stop!
