Hiya,

Andy had a fab evening at the Inter Nations doon Friday evening, even met a guy from Leigh who went to the same school as him, small world huh! He met lots of people, enjoyed some wine & cheese and made some good contacts.

On Saturday we went shopping for shoes for me, and success was had (won't tell you how many pairs..... oops!!!). Regular pit stops required, we found another market which was very quiet & we actually wandered around without getting hassled, although haggling was hard work - but I finally got the woman to follow me out into the street & accept my kind offer!

Came home & logged onto Skype, and chatted to Neil & Alan which was great, also Andy's Dad which was cool too. Really nice catching up with everyone. Had a message from Kate as well, so thank you for that.

Shattered by the end of the day having wandered around a lot, so the rest of the evening was spent chilling out with a bottle of vino & a DVD, Extremely Loud, Incredibly Close with Tom Hanks & Sandra Bullock, very good.

A very wet & soggy Sunday, like a Northern Sunday - and that was Andy's description, not mine ;)
had a little wander out for supplies but it's very wet, and a cool 28 degrees today, brrrrr...... More chilling this afternoon in our apartment, another DVD - The Iron Lady, and watching a series called Touch that we'd got into in the UK. Need more DVD's now but the shop's shelves are pretty bare, with only genuine copies, so they've either been raided recently or are about to me, normal service should be resumed soon though!

Andy's just cooking tea, sadly it's not a Sunday Roast with lots of gravy, suprise suprise it's stir fry chicken with noodles! Off to the Irish bar later to watch the Grand Prix, then Andy will return in the middle of the night for the footie, fingers crossed we do well.

Back to work tomorrow, and we're starting our Chinese classes in the morning too so that should be fun!

Colleen, no drunken photo's or texts from Fri night - disappointed in you...........!!

Let us know how you all are, and what you've been up to this weekend.

Ha ha...... got you hanging on in there for the next episode then!!! Well, a) not much to report so thought we'd wait a day or so, b) not enough people commenting so I thought huh.... I won't write for a few days, then they'll miss us!!! ;)
