We have just finished work and sitting down in our apartment looking out on a very smoggy Beijing today. Thankfully its not as hot as yesterday when we went to play badminton. They have also filled the water features around the complex with water. So things are looking very nice.

Because of the heat yesterday afternoon we took a taxi to the badminton complex which is only a 30min walk away. I had to guide the taxi driver to the complex which was fun in its self. I need to learn the correct words for straight on left and right turn and also at the next lights take......

So we arrive safely at the complex and go in to what can be best described as a small hanger with about 12 badminton courts setup and all full. The tempature outside was high 30's inside it must have be near mid 40's. We meet up 3 other people and got a few games going on our 1 court. The standard wasn't too bad. Tracy played really well for someone who hasn't played for 14years. We played doubles mostly and we was winning when my calf decided it longer wanted to play anymore. Ouch well pulled up and hobbled off the court and spent the next 30 mins watching the other 4 play.

We decided to leave about 20mins early because of my injury and the fact Tracy was shattered and saying I didn't think Badminton would be that hard. Today she is aching all over and as for  my calf muscle is still painful.

Walking back wasn't too bad as we walked passed the Mini & Jaguar Showrooms and passed work. Didn't take too long which was good..... We had an ice cold beer to cool us down before relaxing in front of the TV and with Skype on incase anyone want to wish me Happy Fathers Day (hint for Chantelle) but it didn't happen. I tried to call my Dad but my phone wouldn't do international calls at moment.Hopefully either Eloise or Thomas will get him on Skype this evening. Hope Den has enjoyed a few Mythos beers as well.

Went to renew to our Visas this morning which meant a trip on the subway again. So glad we don't do that everyday. Well off to cook Tracy an Omlette for Tea (Thats Dinner for you Southerners).Cya later for another episode of PezEnders..............
