Firstly....... I am drunk......

Secondly......... I am quite drunk.......

I was just falling asleep & Andy had made me do this blog!!

By midday we had the key to our apartment, yay!!!

We actually spent a whole day working, training looking at the IT System to support what we do which is fab.

After work we walked (10 mins) to our new apartment to move stuff in, we plan to move in tomorrow after we've bought stuff. After being promised that it would be cleaned.... it wasn't.... walked in tonight & it was as if someone had waved a broom around without actually doing anything.

Right, a very good friend / colleague of mine has always said fight the battles you know you're going to win (Chris Harvey if you're reading this you are a legend, if not why not?!?!?) this was a battle we knew we weren't going to win. Cut our losses & clean the place, gloves, bleach & spray stuff later, we were accepting this was one battle we wasn't going to fight!!

All done, we headed for town & eat Vietnamese for dinner, yum - very delicious but still think I have noodles on my chin!!! Oops!!

Anyway, we are back at our hotel to sleep as we don't have bedding, dining stuff etc.so an early alarm call to Ikea & licence to shop.

I wish my lovely sister a very happy birthday, probably a little early, as I know it's still Fri afternoon foryou guys, but it's already 2nd June for us so Lou - love you to bits & have a fab birthday, gutted not being there to celebrate with you - love you lots.

Anyway, must get some sleeps - night night xxx

P.S Happy birthday from me too Lou xx Andrew x

I'm so enjoying reading about your adventures - makes putting up Union Jack bunting and planning our Jubilee-BBQ-in-the-very-English-rain look so lame in comparison! So, now you have a new pad to call home hopefully you can really settle into life out there - although I have to say it sounds like you've already taken to it like the proverbial ducks to water - as we all knew you would.
Just got back from Hythe village which is looking positively festive - even my cynical little heart has melted and given in to the pressure to 'get involved' ... so Best of British cake is currently being planned by my gorgeous daughter .. along with many other treats for our Jubilee Afternoon Tea and BBQ :o)
Hope moving in day went ok .. the credit card is not too hammered from a trip to Ikea and, most importantly, the hangover wasn't too painful!
speak soon,
Much love
