Nice evening last night, an Indian that Ray had recommended - very enjoyable, curry, rice, naan, 3 beers for £10, bargain.
Today, after brunch walked to the main centre of where we are staying, and found a department store, another market like the silk market - less chaos, less hassle, so will probably shop there in the future!!
On the way we saw the Bentley garage, what Andy aspires to..... and a cool mini outside, you thought mine was covered in union jacks, check this one out!! Even the seats were union jack!
Came back to the hotel & skyped for the first time - wicked!! Talked to Mum & Dad, as well as Ian. I've only used Skype once before - so was really impressed with how easy it is to talk to people as if they were in the room next door! This is going to mean the miles between us & back home will seem fewer...... very happy! Lovely to catch up & will do more once we're in our apartment & have a better internet connection.
Desperate to find somewhere to watch the Grand Prix, found 'Paddy's Bar' which had it on, packed with ex-pats & travellers, gutted to see Jenson doing so badly & retire before the end :( but at least we know where to watch it in the future. Got chatting to a really nice couple, John & Steph who are travelling the world before getting married in December, who gave us some good tips on travelling Asia.
Surreal that tomorrow we start work, not at all nervous which is weird, just really looking forward to it!
