This was a school trip where i developed my backpacking skills and started preparing for the future. We hiked 230 mile from springer mountain, the southern start to the trail, to the end of the Smokey mountains. I had a good time.

The AT is a 2,150 mile trail and i am currently getting ready to go back and do the next section. Someday i plan to do the whole trail in one shot
