Needed to get out of the city and get some clean air as there was a lot of roads being dug up and when I say a lot, I mean all the side roads due to the Pan American games being held here in 2010, and they are replacing the water pipes(I think!) hence the water going off!!
Caught the local bus to the aiport (well it drops you off just outside the airport gate) for 5 Pesos equals about 50p, the driver did get caught speeding on the way and got a ticket, he then stopped to order his lunch a bit like a drive through apart from it was a restaurant on the main road!
Flight's were relatively good and plenty of legroom (clearly I need as much as I can get).
Another local bus to the hostel.
Cancun is a place where people party - but not for me, so just walking the city for me, though I did manage a couple of beers and a Tequila or two, but only for one evening!
