Last day today.
We fly out tonight, but not before we squeezed in one last lot of retail therapy. First thing on the list, a second suitcase to fit all my stuff in to get home. Turns out I shopped a bit more than I thought. I just love Macy's :)
Mum finished her part of the trip the same way she started it, by ordering a gigantic sized dinner. She decided on a chicken pot pie, which didn't sound ridiculously large, but when it came out it was bigger than her head! She's got a real knack of ordering these huge meals, she'll think the servings are tiny when she gets home.
Then time for one last trip through American airport security, where I got frisked again and as an added bonus got my luggage searched, ah what fun :)
Airports aside I have had a magnificent time here in the US of A. I have had wonderful experiences and met fantastic people and I'm thrilled I decided to come here. America rocks, thanks for having me.
But as they say, there's no place like home, so I shall click my heels together three times (I bought sparkly shoes here too, sadly not red, hope they do the trick regardless) and will joyfully be back in Oz (Aus) very soon. Yippee!

Sorry sent the comment before I finished. What a wonderful 10 days to spend with my beautiful daughter. We had a great time even if she did make me walk for miles!! Just kidding, it was fabulous. Reading the blog entries just brings it all back. Lots of great memories and photos. Love you Tracey xxx
