Got to Paros and got picked up at the port and taken to the most fit hotel with a swimming pool in Naoussa the most cosmopolitan centre in the world. We dumped our stuff and went for a walk into the centre brought memories rushing back from when we have been here before. Both me and Ian have been dreaming about this place when we have been back home. They have lots of little windey streets with boutiques selling bags shoes dresses and all sorts of cool things this is where Ian bought me my little pink shoes last year. Anyways we went to a place where we had drank before a little bar that sells wine for 2 quid in big massive glasses and I got drunk also Ian had promised me a cocktail so we had a mojito and drunkenly walked back to the hotel.
Woke up early to get the boat to Paros 6am felt sick and it was still night time. The ferry took 5 hours and we only had deck seats which meant that you have to sit outside on the deck. We baged some seats outside and watched the most amazing sunset ever. Got speaking to some refugees from Pakistan on the ferry who had got to Istanbul then went on to get to Izmir paid 800 lira for a ferry to Greece and when they got into Greek waters they were taken to the refugee camp in Samos where they had to stay for 60 days telling them that they were from Afganistan because they would be sent back to Pakistan but if they claimed asylum they would have longer here! They got moved in the middle of the night back to Istanbul by gunpoint and then made the trip back all over again! They were saying that if they wanted to get to England it would cost them 1000 euro and they would then be smuggled in as it happened they were on the ferry to Athens to be lost in the system probably. I felt a bit sorry for them they just wanted decent jobs with good pay and everything that we take for granted really so I bought them all some coca colas and some biscuits as they had no money at all
