we did not wake until 9am as we where so tired Volcano the guy who works on reception knocked on the door to get us up. Went for breakfast again eggs lol I have this theory that eggs bung you up so eating lots for breakfast so i dont get dodgy belly!!  we then decided to go on the tour bus its a bit like the one that they have in london and works it way all around the city so we did a round trip and then got back on and went to taxim square, its the main shopping centre and where all the bars and clubs are that the turkish locals go to.

Ian had decided that he wanted to go to this place called Beyoglu but i really could not be bothered so after a mcdonalds dinner I know I am sorry but I could not resist and guess what Mcdonalds in Istanbul have moterbike delivery men how cool would it be to have a hang over and call for a mackies to be delivered genius!

Well anyways ian went off to the tube and i decided to head and look for a present for danielle but i got talking to a turkish bloke and asked him where the place was that Ian was looking for and it was not on a tube it was just across the road which made me chuckle! I got back to Sultanhamet square and started looking for a fun present I am not kidding I must have been acosted by every man and his dog but I did not feel threatened even when one man asked me to be his english wife as he already had a turkish one lol.

Met back up with my true love back at the hostel and had a look for a hostel in Canakkale but everywhere was booked up so ended up booking a place in Eceabat instead so we are off in the morning.  Had a fantastic last night went for a walk with Ian to a place a bit like a school canteen where they had loads of really nice home made food and you just went along and picked out the stuff that you wanted i got meatballs with mash potato and cheese on top and Ian had a stew it was fit.  Then we went into the square for sunset again this time we sat and had a turkish apple tea with all the locals and ended up singing manchester united songs as they play a turkish team next week called Besiktas.  Istanbul is an amazing place and we both loved it so much but happy to leave tomorrow.  We wll put pics on tomorrow as computer wont let us xxxx

Hola

Really enjoying reading of your adventures (in typical Tracey style) It's so exciting and reminds me of my days traveling - oh how life has changed!

We got a cat on Friday - I have never owned a pet in my life - she is the most amazing, mesmerizing creature. She has spent the night in the Ian Brown suite with Rimmer - she seems to like it in there!

Look forward to your next chapter - safe travels xxx
