Its so hot today and our room is so small you cant swing a cat in it, I got no sleep all night as there was some taxi drivers living outside my bedroom window in fact they were so close I thought they were going to get in bed with us!

Went for breakfast had boiled eggs, tomatoes, cucumber, cheese and nice fresh bread I know the most random food in the world but it was really tasty.  Then had to mess around trying to find a shower to use as the one near our rooms is rank and there is no way I was putting my feet anywhere near the floor even with flip flops on there is mold all over the room and it stinks did manage to find a clean one and got ready to go out.

We decided to go to the Blue mosque and have a look around you have to cover your shoulders and they give you a free scarf I am modeling it very well on the pic.  Also you have to take your shoes off but the carpet is really fluffy and nice.

We then walked a hundred miles to the spice market and then to the Grand Bazaar which was a bit of a let down apart from the local turkish men that were all buying gold on the street they all stand around with mobile phones out of the ark shouting the best prices for the gold then they sell it on really quick its a bit like wall street but in the back streets of a turkish market.

I am not sure about the food yet scared that I am going to get ill so I have ate not a lot had this kebab thing in a wrap with chips and and stuff in it reminded me a bit of a gyros.  To be honist I like Istanbul its a great City but I am excited to get the bus out on Saturday and go to the coast the temperature is 27 degrees here also but hot as there is no where to go that is quiet and no people.  There are about 20 million people living in a place that is only twice the size of london so its hot hot anyways its only mid afternoon just writing some post cards to send you all so send me some messages and I will write some more later.

Went to the square last nıght at sunset ıts Ramadam so all the famılıes and people came out to eat ıt was lıke a bıt food stall and really excıtıng.  We had some really sweet lollypops that made our teeth hurt a bıt then we went for some food.

The gırl who works ın the bar at the hostel was havıng a leavıng party and they were advertısıng her job Ian saıd Tracey wıll do ıt to the man and he saıd can you start tomorrow ha ha ha drank far to much playıng drınkıng games and realısed we are not as young as we thınk we are.  Luckıly we were so tıred we even mıssed the call to prayer at 5am thıs mornıng.
