Where I stayed
we met with our 4th friend in "Almeria Aeropuerto". first we visited the tourist trap Tabernas . Tabernas has 3 spagetti western movie studios, you have to pay at least 15 euro to enter the studios. of course its not worth so much money , so we decided to explore the town. it has a castle on the top of a hill, surrounded by aloe vera and cactus trees. the castle is called ( Arabian Castle). After La Calahorra we headed for Sierra Nevada. Sierra nevada is a series of mountains and has 3-4 over 3000m tops. has a few ski centers. There is a "must do route" through the Sierra Nevada. a curved 50 km of breathtaking and amazing curved road took us to Trevelez. its a little village in a high valley, surrounded by oak trees. its famous for its smoked ham (of the black feet pigs) called "jamon". we stayed at a Hostal Fernando. the owner was a red cheeked, very friendly mountain village man, Jose Louis.
we saw a horse farting and shitting while walking in the narrow streets of Trevelez. we will never forget that moment:)
