After my fun evening in Detroit, and my early early morning for the show... I was really just happy to have a relaxing evening when we pulled in to Kalamazoo. It was probably our nicest hotel yet. A newly renovated Quality Inn with pretty blue comforters and a nice big bathroom. It was comfy. Then, as an added bonus, there was a Schlotzsky's! I haven't eaten there since Gainesville, and I part of the fun was knowing how jealous Barbara would be ;). I enjoyed a lovely little pizza and cookie (no I didn't get the amazing kids meal, b/c there wasn't a drive-thru, but it was great none-the-less). I went to bed early, and then we had a good show this morning. We played Chenery Auditorium, which was a beautiful space. Sadly, it was undergoing renovations, so the actors didn't have real dressing rooms, but it is going to be a great place to play in a couple of months.
Now we're headed West again, and into Central time for 2 more shows before heading South again :)
