After DC we went to NC. For fishing.
Fishing means getting up At 4 a.m. and bringing the boot to the marina. Around 5 a.m. we were in the water speeding out of shallow water heading around 40 miles east were the warm gulf stream is located. Warm water means big fish. Our boot was 21 feet and had 2 big Yamaha 150 engines. This generates quite a speed. Around 6.30 we reached fishing grounds and the boat slowed down. At this moment the "hitting the water hard" up and down of the boat changed to swinging left to right. My stomach did not like that at all and for the next 4 hours I got really seasick. I also supported to attract fish quite a few times. I never was seasick and did not know that you also get really tired. Around 12 I fell asleep and when I woke up it was much better. We caught one 40 pound tuna and 2 other big fish.
Next day we had fresh tuna which is really delicious.
