Well, I reckon I saw my four boathouses today and the wedding, so that's pretty much it for the trip. Too bad I still have four days left, what will I do? In case this last statement made no sense, the theme to my trip was four boathouses and a wedding - in which I was hopeful of seeing at least four boathouses (and the wedding, dur.)
Austin has a massive rowing scene, I'd hate to see the water when all the boathouses are out. There are 4 boathouses, or boat shacks or places to join and get out on the water. Why there are four I'm not sure. My intuition tells me there once was some major fights going down.
Anyway, I got to get out and put number 48 on my list. I am trying to row on 50 bodies of water.
Then I drove down to New Braunfels, Texas to visit my grandmother and Gruene - the town founded by my great, great, great grandfather or some great like that. If you like to shop, visit Gruene. Well, okay there's tubing there too, but probably a lot more fun when it is 100 F outside.
The wedding was beautiful, lovely, everyone said I do.
On my way home from the wedding I stopped at the State Capitol. There were a lot of kids running around with light sabers. You just never know about these Texans.
Tomorrow, Lakewood Church because I am so intriged by a church that can seat 35 thousand people.
