So we arrived in San Francisco and hung out for a few hours. We saw some sea lions play king of the flotation device and figured out our plans for the next few days. We stayed that night in Merced, California at a Days Inn with bloody sheets; and, they wouldn't give us any discount. The next two nights we stayed at a motel in Groveland, California. The owner of the motel was a woman who, while in college, took her chemistry classes from Timothy Leary. In Groveland, we ate at the oldest saloon in California. Our day-trip into Yosemite Valley allowed us to see the Giant Sequoias, El Capitan, Half Dome and Yosemite Falls.
