We started our journey to go visit the olivefactory in Queen Creek. We drove for about 1 hour in the neighbourhood, but were unable to find the entrance, although we had a GPS.  So after 1 hour I told my hubby to stop searching and to go to Phoenix City.  If nothing else to see there, we would have seen at least Phoenix main streets ;)

The travelguide told us that the science museum would be cool, and that it was a 'must'. So on we went.
Unfortunatly, it was a fall break in Arizona, so the kids were off scool, and the museum had his exhibits changed into 'special for children'.
It was stil kinda interesting, but the 'wow' factor was not there. 9$ each.
We parked the car in the wrong garage, because parking the car for 2 hours was suddenly 12$, while there were other parkings that would have cost only 5$.

After that we went looking for Larry's house in Glendale.  Perry told him that we would arive by four.  Nobody was home at first, but after a while a girl (Maya) opened the door.  She was also a couchsurfer that was staying at Larry's that night.  We were able to reach Larry  on his cellphone, and - since he was stuck in traffic - we were able to 'install' ourselves for the night.  By 17h30 when Larry finaly was able to escape the traffic conjestion, we were able to talk to him in person.

Our plan was to go for dinner in The Siamese Cat in Tempe, so we could thank Perry and Rebecca for our stay there.  Larry invited also Christina - who was staying in a neighbours couchsurfing house while she was looking for a job and a place to live in Phoenix.
Although the reviews for that restaurant were pretty good, it stuck me that 'fine dining' is not realy a concept they know in the midwest.  We'll keep looking.
