After dropping of some chocolates at Georges' house, we spend the afternoon in Beaufort. We had lunch at the Beaufortinn. The food was unbelievably delicious, the service was extraordinary delightfull, and the prices were amazingly cheap. I ate shrimp and sweet potato grits and it was one of the most delicious meals from this holiday.
Later in the afternoon we took a horsecarriage tour through the historic district. The guide was very talkative, but everything that he said was interesting. Apparently a lot of movies (or at least parts of) where shot at Beaufort. Bringing in famous people like for example Tom Hanks (Forrest Gump).
In the evening we drove to a Kroger shop to do some shopping for the dinner I had promissed Chris in Bluffton. It was again 'my' potatosalad with green aspergus and sausages.
Since it rained, we could not play mini-golf, so instead we enjoyed the boardgame 'taboo'.
