Half way through already!  It seems our first week has gone by quickly, but when I really think about it, the time has passed nice and slow.  We have had plenty of down time and actually took a nap today for the first time!  I forget how great naps are...

So, after breakfast, we jumped in our taxi and headed to Bridgetown harbor.  I have to say I'm glad we didn't rent a "moke," which is what tourists drive around here. They look like an even smaller version of a Suzuki Samarai.  These Barbadians drive like MANIACS!!!!!  Part of it is because the roads are so narrow, but the problem lies in the fact that NO ONE slows down for the near head on collisions!  I just close my eyes.  LOL

We safely arrived in Bridgetown (Phew) and were ready to sail through the air, above the ocean this time!  There were two other women from DC who joined us on the boat who were very nice. Tony stepped up first, and as you can hear on the video, I was clearly more excited than he was!  He sailed up 250 feet in the air, just like that.  We chose not to do the 500 feet; Tony does not appreciate his life being in someone else's hands, so he wanted to keep it to a minimum, which was fine with me.  We will break in our dare devil activities slowly!  I was up next, and as I sailed above the stunning, turquoise Caribbean Sea,  I will say only one thing that can express my feeling, and I will use one of my favorite quotes. Life is not about the amount of breaths we take, but about the times that take our breath away."  This was one of those moments!  I didn't even get wet either!!

Upon my return on the boat, I chatted with the guide, who parasailed Simon Cowell, Sean Connery, and boated wedding guests over to Tiger's yacht (Tiger Woods got married on this island, in case you didn't know).  He also parasailed one of "The Bachelors" from a few seasons ago! I looked over at Tony who wasn't participating in this stimulating name dropping conversation, and he didn't look so good.  He didn't want anyone on the boat to know, but the very bumpy waves were making him quite sea sick.  We were going to do some shopping in Bridgetown after parasailing, but that changed really quick when I saw how miserable he was.  So, we taxi'd it back to the hotel, had some tea, and took a nap.  He felt much better when we woke up, thank goodness!

Next, we sauntered down to the restaurant for lunch and then to the spa to see about scheduling some services for tomorrow.  I'm getting my MUCH needed pedicure and nail fill, and Tony will be enjoying a full body massage and a facial.  Ah...this is the life!!

Now, I have to end this blog because our room service will be here any minute.  I am having a petite filet and some decadent chocolate cherry jubilee cake (or something fattening like that) and a bottle of dessert wine!  Tony is having scallops and cheesecake, and I MIGHT share some dessert wine with him!  We are moving this meal to the bedroom because it's wet outside from all the rain today. We will watch The Newlywed Game while we eat, and then of course, we will go to sleep from such an EXHAUSTING day!  :)
