2nd June 2005

It was up early this morning to make the most of the day. We took a trip to Margaret River Mouth, which apparently has one of the most constant surfing waves around. Unfortunately there were no "surfer dude's" hitting the waves and hangign ten (if thats what they do. The heavens opened, just to add to the morning a little, but hat didn't stop us taking a little trip along the beach. We dipped our feet in the sea (albeit the sea dipped onto me as the tide came in and flooded my feet) and I then spent the next 10 minutes watching Sarah Carol and Tom running as close to the sea as possible, touching it, then running back to the beach without themselves getting wet. I was Dad on this trip watching 3 children, sorry hyperactive children, completely misbehave. It was then that we got the telephone call from Carols uncle to let us know about the mass beaching of whales at bussleton.
