Day 3

And 10 o'clock we are off! I think: seen 1 gorge, seen them all, but not Dr T! So: there we go: gorging!

We are not only DRIVE from the 1 to the other but also hike. The little Tomcat is in the shade, so he is fine for a little while. Finer than us: we get sunburned!

And ok,ok, the gorges are beautiful.

And we find DOLPHINS.

Playing in the water: amazing. About 15, most adults, some smaller. Too far away for pics... .

My toes touched the water: does that count for swimming?

BaH wanted to drive but he is too young.

After this, we decide we deserve fish and chips. In this fisher heaven, they advertise yr fish might be caught the same morning. Might be. Might be caught in Tasmania, frozen and shipped here too.

Our book declares three camping sides 80 kms out of Kalbarri to be nice, so we decide to sniffle. And sure enough, we find one at a lake, with a dunny and a dump station and NOBODY else there. Hoping out Germans will not show up, we set up for the night.

We make ourselves comfortable at the lake, BaH explores, while Dr T tells me stories, stories about the beginning of the earth and life as we know it.

Nononono, not because he is drunk but because we going to look at the stromatolites tomorrow.

You do not know what that is?

I did not either, but the Tomcat himself will tell you.
