Dr T gets a phone and some software. It turns out to be an asynchrony dial up modem. Hubby reads the entire 27 pages manual. We need a dial up number and a password. Which nobody can give us, of course.
We go next door to the dive shop, where we talk to Roberto, Italian. No, no English. Luckily a bit French. We sign up for tomorrow. He tells us the final payment will be done through the hotel.

We meet a zebu with his driver on the way to town. He is a lucky man, here. A lot of people pull their own carriage. THEY are the zebu.
Our resto has a view. 'Town' is a couple of small wooden houses and shops. Luckily we have a fridge in our room, so we buy some drinks.
Later on, we try out the swimming pool: not bad.
Diner is in the first restaurant on the beach. I have escalope de veau. Hubby does not want to taste because he thinks we should go back to our original safety rules: different food.
This was the right decision at the right time because ...
