Where I stayed
I haven't spoken to you in almost 2 weeks, I know. But that is because we stayed put.
Let me start with some boring information on where we are: Perth: the home city of Tony. He is not born here, mind you, he is born in Ballarat: the east side of Australia. His ex with the kids and his parents live in Perth.
Perth is the capital of the Australian state of Western Australia. A population of 1,507,900 makes Perth by far the largest city in Western Australia and home to three-quarters of the state's residents. The city is also the fourth most populous urban area in Australia, and with a growth rate of 2.1% is currently the fastest growing major city in Australia.
The nearest city to Perth with a population over 1 million is Adelaide in South Australia, which is 2,104 kilometers away, making Perth the most isolated city (of over 1 million people) in the world.
Still want to share what we did with you.
We went to book our next holidays: Mauritius, Seychelles, Madagascar and South-Africa!!!
In South-Africa we will travel around for 3 weeks with the girls.
And then: ?
After the booking, we went to the shore. Past by the Rendez-vous Observation City hotel:

I stayed there for business, 6 years ago, when Dr T was still Dr T, my colleague and maybe a bit my friend. He was not really my colleague, I was his costumer. He says it is all about costumer's satisfaction. But, then and there in Perth, he did not even kiss my CHEEK. Still, it is a walk down memory lane.
Bottle of champagne on our next destinations? Cheers!
We went to the beach with the kids the first hour ... it rained!
The second time it rained was the day we went to Perth. To the immigration office. We just wanted to make sure we had all the right information for my permanent visa, which is by now a bit more than a year away. I have a temporarily one. We had to wait for a long time and did not learn anything new. But had everything confirmed.
It was not allowed to take pictures during Crystals dance and sing competition. But, we did drive to the shopping center to buy my next Pandora: he is called Junior, of course!
One day, we went to Kings park in Perth:

Tim could choose a day's out and chose a bike ride, leaving from Kings Park. Unfortunately: there is no more bike rental in the park.
We went to:

You can hire skates and kayaks, too. By the day or by the hour. Helmets are obliged and there are dedicated bike paths in Perth. Since the road to Kings Park was closed, we biked around the Swan River.

It gave some nice views on the skyline of Perth.
There even was an open air gym on the way. Crystal and I had to try them all, while Tim thought: 'Can we go on biking now???'.
2,5 hours of hard labor later, Tim still wanted his walk in Kings Park, where they were all silly of course.
Afterwards to Kailis for REAL fish and chips.

They also have a shop, where I wanted to buy tiger prawns for the next day but Tony says, no, we will go in buy them fresh tomorrow in their second shop. My: 'Yes, but what if ...' was waved away.
So the next day, we went for a coffee with Tony's sister in the neighborhood of the shop and, as you can guess, no fresh tiger prawns! I had to settle for king prawns. Which were prepared with love anyway.
The next day was zoo day again. You know my weakness for zoos, by now, but it was Crystal's choice, in fact. Steered by Smum. S in the Smum stands for steph and see and swinning and scuba diving and shoes and shopping. And that does not even include Smum's favorite hobby.

Did you know that the world famous giraffe mum kissing her baby was made in the Perth zoo?
I am TRYING to have a grip on the kids for a serious picture, did it work?
My favorite animal was, of course the bat. I want to have a bat as a pet one day.
I also liked the fairy penguins very much. A lot of people think, penguins live in cold areas, well this little one lives in Australia.

We went for a meal for Chris' birthday, an all you can eat buffet. The children looooved the chocolate.
Normally, there was a rollerblade day included but the rollerblade circuit does not rent protection! I do not want to break anything and surely do not want the children to.
So we went bowling. The little princes even won.
Today we went to the beach in the sun. Although it is 25 degrees, the wind was pretty cold and the water ice cold. No pictures due to forgotten camera.
A couple more days Perth and then, then we are off again. We booked the flights but nothing else yet. Here we go again ... .

I am the first

Talk to you soon!
scampis - not scampi's
Think I made a mistake!
Houses and cars are quite expensive and not every person is able to buy it.
Nevertheless, loan are invented
to aid people in such kind of hard situations.
