We wake up very early in the center of Mexico City, there is no choice, if you think the night is noisy, you should hear the morning!

We heard about hop-on hop-off busses, which we think is always a nice way to get an introduction to a city. Unfortunately, we do not know where to hop on. We are 5 minutes away from the biggest square in MC: Plaza Della Bellas Artes (I am probably killing your language, Iratxe, I am sorry!) and think there will be a stop on that square. We walk half the square when I see THE bus. We know it is a double decker in the London style. The moment I see one like that, I start chasing it. I run and run all around the square, like a stupid dog after a car, I am sooooo embarrassed, thinking of it! What the f... got into me???? When it finally stops, it stays there for 10 minute and Dr T walks to it, at ease as always, laughing at me: what was I doing?

We sit down on top, nicely in the sun and enjoy the tour for 2 hours.

We see (almost) naked men protesting but I cannot understand what against. I can read most of the head lines in the newspapers (abortion law is under big discussion, Americans advise against travelling to Acapulco, ...) but I do not understand their message (Iratxe?).

When we pass by the same monument the next day they just get dressed. I think they were there for 24 hours!

We get off for a walk and a beer, get back on and finish the whole touur (3,5 hours). We took a ticket for 2 days and tomorrow, we will use the bus as a means of transport.

So, I have to fill you in: I told Dr T that if we are playing husband-wife, a wedding ring is essential. To my surprise HE starts shopping for one. The street we are staying in has 100s of jewelry boods and shops. Unfortunately for hubby I saw what I want in the ... Cartier shop. Would you believe he bought it for me???

Then he took me to the top of one of the building on the plaza della bellas artes, where we witness the military taking down a huge flag on the square. They screw up all the time (the wind catches it) and it take ages and is very funny to look at.

And then, and then, and then: I get my ring: what do you think: soooooooooo proud!!!!

Then we go for a meal (again on a nice terrace) my eyes are much bigger then my belly.
