So, we were in Miami and while Dr T played with his new toy for a whole day, I went shopping, interneting and running on the beach: I forgot how though that was: running in the sand. Late afternoon my husband finally got fed up with his toy (it IS a cute little thing, did you check it out, Kris?) and we went to Miami Beach, rollerblading, as you can guess. Today we went to the yacht harbor, where Dr T explained me everything about sail boats and catamarans. He is a sailor and we will rent a boat for a couple of weeks, one day. Time for a beer: we find a nice terrace and sit down in the sun when the waiter comes to us and says: 'sorry, you can only sit here if you have a dog.' Sorry??????????? It is dog day and the terrace is for the dogs and their owners. Welcome to the States, have a nice day!

Next day we leave Miami behind and drive to the Everglades, where we visit the alligators and eat one or better little pieces of one. Those baby's, much bigger and taller than me are scary!!! We spent the night in Florida City in a nice motel for a change and I go rollerblading on the parking. Well, I step of the pavement and do my first big fall:  black and blue b.tt! Dr T follows me later but cannot find me. I am practicing my very few skills, crossovers, turning and skating backwards (proud of me, Norbert?) In the evening we do our very first Denny's: a typical American Dinner, open 24/7 and breakfast all day.
