Up late for breakfast and out and about for last explore of local area. Now looking forward to moving on....excited about Jungle. Hels shopping for a looser t-shirt!!!! and Tony supping coffee and trying to find an old english newspaper with some sport news.
Went to a FISH SPA where we booked in for 1/2 hour of Cleaner Fish nibbling at the dead skin on your feet. Great experience as we sat over these latge tanks and dangled our lower legs into this tank of fish....they instantly attack your feet with tiny nibbling which is extremely ticklish.....but great fun watching the fish and everyone elses reaction. Definately a hole in the market in GB for someone.
In the early evening we got all gear together to book out of hostel and then met our fellow Jungalites..... Anastasia and Nacho ( Russia and Argentina ), Mark and Rachael ( GB ), Esta (GB ), and Yan ( Holland ). We then met our rather portly guide that made Tony look thin. His name was Yat and he was taking into the Jungle. Train left from KL at 8.30pm and we eventually had a sleeping berth, thanks to Anastasia and Nacho, or Rachael and Mark who gracefully gave their beds to us old codgers. Instantly took a great like to these nice couple. The train went to Dabong and arrived on time, at 8.30 am on 14th. Beds were comfortable as long as you could stretch out......difficult with your backpacks at the end of the bed and your day sacks. Got 3 or 4 hours good sleep.
