Hey,
So after San Francisco we got a shuttle from LAX to Anaheim which is near Orange County and Newport, so nowhere near Hollywood. Anyway, we got in relatively early again so by 2pm were ready to do something. We had settled into our hotel, and decided to go to Disneyland since it was open until 8pm and we had a 2 day pass, (although you need 5 days really to see both Disneyland and California Adventure Park), so even though we could get in to both we just stuck to Disnayland and didn't do California Adventure, but it looked awesome aswell. But the normal Disneyland was awesome aswell and was by far better than any theme park we have in Australia. it may be a kids theme park more than adults but seriously Disneyland caters for everyone and even the little kids rides have so much detail and effort put into them its incredible.
So mum and nan bought Disney hats since they never bought one!, and we went on a few rides that all of us could go on, and i went on a ride on my own then on others with mum and nan, so we had a good day there. We stayed until 8pm but we didn't watch the parade because we wanted something to look forward to the next day when we went again. We went on the train that went around the park to save you from walking everywhere, so that was even detailed because as you go through each 'land' in Disneyland there are things you see when you go through tunnels like for example going through like the Amazon and you have animals that you go past in that environment so even just a train ride was so detailed that it was like being on a ride too. Mum and i also went on space mountain which was a really fast dark tunnel with endless lights around you, it honestly made me feel sick and mum clearly felt it too, but we managed to enjoy it and probably would have gone on it again if we had time, but it was one of those rides that left you abit wobbly. But it was awesome!
Went went back to the hotel with the Disney shuttle, but our hotel was only 5-7 mins from Disneyland so it was a quick ride to and from there, and was only $3 all day so cheap too, and we just relaxed and ate Chinese and watched tv.
The next day we woke up and went on the shuttle at 9.30am and were in Disneyland once we got there, so we were ready for a full day there. It was a beautiful day too, so that was lovely. We went on all the rides we went near, except for the teacups since it would have made us all feel sick, but we basically went on every ride that was in Disneyland or atleast i did some of them mum and nan sat out, but i managed to get mum on a the Big Thunder Mountain railroad ride that went really fast but i had already been on it, so she didn't believe me that there were no dips like a roller coaster, so she was squealing 'oh no!' all throughout the ride!! It was funny really. But i wouldn't put her on a ride she wouldn't like so she should have just believed me :)
There were really good rides there, Pirates of the Caribbean was good, Indiana Jones was fantastic it really was, you kinda bouch around in your car like you see in the movies and the rolling ball comes at you, its great. I also went on Splash Mountain which wet me alot so that was cooling in the hot weather. There was Tarzan's Treehouse you could explore, Findind Nemo submarine which was very detailed, you go under water in the submarine and see things from the film it was really good actually. Buzz Lightyear was also good, they give you a gun that has a lazer and you shoot targets throughout the ride, Honey i shrunk the audience was awesome. It was a 3D film you watch that makes you ferel like you've been shrunk, the Jungle Cruise was also great, very detailed with the animals it had in the water, and on land; the mark Twain riverboat was a huge steamboat that you ride around on and pirates even shoot bombs at you, and kid rides like pinocchio, snow white, peter pan etc were brillant. They were kids rides and just the detail they had was awesome to see. It was just a ride that went through the story of each but it was by far so much better than any kid ride we have. But we got to see Toon Town and you get to walk thru Mickey's house, Minnie's, Goofy's and chip n dale's treehouse, so that whole town was so cool to see, you felt like you were in the cartoon.
So we stayed at Disneyland all day and left at 7.30pm after the parade which was awesome too. it was a really good day and Disneyland is sure worth going to if anyway visits Los Angeles for sure.

Love, Toni xoxo
