Today Veronika took us to the Evergreen Aviation Museum, in McMinnville, which is a reasonable distance from Milwaukie. This is a relatively new museum, established in the early 1990s and supported by Evergreen International Aviation. It is very well maintained and has a lot of knowledgeable volunteers. We took a 90 minute tour with a gentleman who was a pilot for TWA for 30 years. He showed us the Spruce Goose, which was brought up from its previous home in Los Angeles, and many World War II planes, some WW I planes and a replica of the Wright Brothers plane.
Veronika then took us to Fry's, a huge electrical and computer store because Tom needs tthe latest version of Adobe Photoshop Elements - it has some neat features that one can't live without. Unfortunately they didn't have it in stock so we didn't spend a lot there.
