After mulling over the e-mail problem, Tom got up and fixed it this morning!  We again worked through the family history data and used the names in Jim's father's rolodex to piece a bit more together.  We hope that, once we spend time with other Dalys in California we will be able to fill in some more gaps.

In the afternoon we drove along Lake Superior, which is huge, to the Split Rock lighthouse.  Jims' father Tom used to be responsible for this lighthouse, among others in the area in his later years in the Coast Guard.
