Today was seriously cold outside; reportedly -20 deg C. We walked along the shops which were not very crowded, certainly not compared with those in New York City. Tom took our first spill on the icy footpaths. Fortunately he does not seem to have done anything serious, just some bruising and damage to his pride. Ruth has convinced herself that two layers on unaccustomed Ozzie legs are a must and that today is the last time she'll think she'll be right wearing only jeans on her legs.
We returned to the Chappelle Notre-Dame Bonsecour to attend a concert of carol singing. This was all in French; the program, the singing and the explanation. We enjoyed the singing, especially the mezzo soprano who had a glorious voice but we didn't understand much of the singing and speaking.
