We landed in Doha a bit after 01:00 London time (11:00 Doha time and 10:00 Melbourne time) and were taken by bus to the terminal. We were looking forward to relaxing in the magnificent Qatar lounge but only had time to wait for about 10 minutes at the departure gate before being taken, again in a freezingly cold air-conditioned bus, to our next plane.

Once again we enjoyed all aspects of the flight and landed in Melbourne about 22:00, once again later than scheduled.  The luggage took longer than usual to arrive so we did not reach home until about 23:00, still awake enough to talk with our house guest, Veronika and to unpack (though not put away) before settling into our own bed after 45 nights away, with the prospect of settling into home life including  the pile of mail that awaited us.
