As our Aer Lingus flight to London was at the civilised time of 12:15 we finished packing after breakfast, loaded the car, filed up with petrol and drove to Shannon airport with plenty of time to spare. The flight was uneventful and Tom even dozed.
Upon landing we were amazed there was no Customs, we just collected our luggage and headed for the Underground and to the Royal OverSeas League (ROSL) where we are now staying. Once again we have a room on the fifth floor overlooking London sights such as the London Eye, Big Ben and Houses of Parliament.
