Back to the GRO soon after it opened at 09:30 to submit the remaining photocopy requests. Because we were early we didn't have to wait long before we had 9 more photocopies.  Now all Tom has to do is work out how relevant this information is!

We took the first tour of Trinity College which was great.  Our guide was excellent then we spent the rest of the morning in the College’s old library, the exhibition relating to the Book of Kells and other old books then the top floor where about 200,000 of the College’s library’s oldest books are on display.  Many of their bindings were like the example we had seen in a video in the exhibition downstairs.

Again the weather wasn’t great and Tom had work to do so we stayed in for the afternoon.  Ruth took the opportunity to read another book.  Dinner was at another local café having made sure we were there in time to have some choice of eatery.
