First thing, we headed back towards Side to see some amazing caves called Heaven and Hell. On the way Genghis decided to give us a completely inappropriate monologue about last night. I'd planned to have a chat with him but didn't get the chance. Wasn't too much of a prob as things calmed down from there on in.

Anyway - back to the interesting stuff - Heaven was used as a hiding place for Christians when Christianity wasn't accepted in Asia Minor, so we could walk all the way (I lost count how many steps it was) to the bottom and see a 5th century church that was built down there. I like my caves - see the photos.

Hell is rumoured to be where Zeus kept Typhoon (a particularly nasty multi-headed monster) before sending him to Mt. Etna where he is supposed to still be today.

Walking back from the caves I stopped at a little tourist market and thats when I saw him. Peering at me from a bargain bin, his sad little camel eyes met mine across the crowded market and I instantly knew I had to have him. From then on, Grabby Camel (he's only little - he fitted in my carry bag) were inseparable! Well at least that's what I thought. Little did I know what a floosy he is. But at least we had a lot of fun (him a lot more than me).

We then jumped on the boat to North Cyprus where we had a traditional Cypriot meal by the harbour and spent the next 3 nights.
