No shower - just couldn't do the cold shower thing again. Chris negotiated with Genghis and got him to arrange a Turkish bath for us all paid for by the tour company which was a small miracle in itself. Turkish bath was wicked and I treated myself to a proper cutthroat razor shave - best I've ever had (even if they did miss a small spot).

Another long day on the bus - slept alot but also took in some great scenery with the aqua mediteranean and snow-capped Taurus mountains in the same view.

We stopped at a big waterfall in Side which came from an underground spring and gushed straight into the med. Up around the back of the waterfall there were some camel rides which of course I had to have a go on - Warrick offeres to take photos (1 is below) the other 43 I will leave off the page for now - Thanks Warrick!!

We then headed to the Hotel which was located in a small beachside area outside of Side. On the way Genghis offered to arrange a meal at the Hotel for the standard 10Lire. We couldn't take it any more so we decided to stop at a supermarket on the way for some supplied to have a BBQ - The whole group joined in which was cool. Don't think Genghis liked it too much though as he was pretty grumpy on the way to the Hotel.

Arrived at the Hotel and got to our room and guess what? NO BLOODY HOT WATER. Chris went downstairs to confront Genghis (probably not a good idea as there was already a lot of tension between the two as Chris had been the most outspoken about the problems so far). He returned 5 minutes later letting us know that he'd been kicked off the tour. Genghis had taken offence to Chris, actually physically pushed him (not a good idea as Chris is twice his size) and told him he was off the tour. Genhgis came up not long after to have another go at Chris and backed off on kicking Chris off - Good thing as he would have had a bit of a mutany on his hands if he didn't. We told him where to go and things calmed down a bit. Chris was rightly pissed off but stuck with the tour which was good as it would have been pretty crap if he had gone.

They wouldn't let us light the disposable BBQs we bought on the Hotel grounds, so we went next door and cooked the Barbie on an incomplete building site - All the boys and some of the girls got involved and had a great time - Nothing like boys around a BBQ for bonding! Matt, Michelle and Kerry had a huge room, so we ate and partied for the rest of the night in there.

Turned out to be a great night after all.
